John Bauernfeind is originally from Vietnam and is currently based in New York City. John is an Associate Professor of Fashion Design  at Parsons School of Design.  He holds an MA in Menswear from Central St. Martins and a BFA specializing in Womenswear from Parsons. He has worked internationally at CK Jeans, Pollini/ Aeffe, BCBG/ PVH and as a costume designer for French performance artist Orlan. John has over eighteen years in Academia at Parsons School of Design, California College of the Arts, Academy of Art University and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
